The filters neutralize poison gases known in 1940. When the air, aspired to outside, is not harmful, the filters are shunted by a by-pass.
This room comprised 3 filters. One of them was removed to make the unit more accessible.

Rooms for 16 men, 2 superimposed lines of 8 beds. At present certain beds were removed to give more space to the visitors of the room. With the head of the beds of the racks hold place of cloakroom. Vis-a-vis the beds of the folding shelves allow to take the meals.

All in bottom of the bell, a tight boitier collects the FM casings which go down by the central pipe. A manual ventilator makes it possible to evacuate pollutant gases.
The floor out of wooden is removable so that the observer can adjust it with its size. Here it is with lowest of the bell, which is unusual but which makes it possible to show excel it work of restoration of the unit.
The floor is in position - normal One reaches it by a scale, after having raised a trap door.
3 of the 5 crenels of bell. Two are equipped with their épiscope and that of right-hand side has its FM out of battery. (it misses only the sheath of evacuation of the casings, connected to FM, so that the unit is complete).
The center, a F1 periscope makes it possible to make an observation on 360°.
It has two roles:
- to prohibit any approach of the crenels;
- to collect engraved them frontage, in the event of bombardment, and to thus prevent the obstruction of the doors, crenels and openings of ventilation.
