Here the GFM (Guet and FM) is equipped with a épiscope (on the right) and a FM (on the left).
The épiscope is a tight apparatus which allows the observation without fear to receive a ball. Here the épiscope is photographed interior of the GFM.
In 1940 certain men removed the épiscopes, inter alia because of the mist which reduced their observation fields. This reconstitution illustrates the danger of such a practice.

Olivier, who paints the bell, allows us to note that the layer of ground of camouflage of the flagstone does not make more 20cm thickness.

The esplanade before 1939.
The reinstallation of the footbridge (by Seb) makes it possible to see well its system of casters (in top here) which ensure its possible withdrawal of the ditch diamond that it spans.
The setting in painting of the door (by Nico) gives the opportunity to have an idea of the narrowness of the footbridge.
It has two roles:
- to prohibit any approach of the crenels;
- to collect engraved them frontage, in the event of bombardment, and to thus prevent the obstruction of the doors, crenels and openings of ventilation.
