Rough work strengthened with powerful artillery.

SF Rohrbach in 1940

Mission: protection of flanking of the close strengthened works. In June 1940 it is requested to protect the works from Welschoff and Rohrbach (on its left). Rohrbach will effectively be protected but Welschoff, in limit of range from its 75, will be forced to go to the Germans.

Civil statue

Born in Lyon (the Rhone) on January 20, 1971. Married on July 1, 2000 with Less (the Rhone) in Karine. 1 little girl, Erja born on June 17, 2004 with Less too.

Passion

Discovered physical of the line Maginot on August 16, 1996 by the visit of Hackenberg! Since, certain holidays are devoted to the LM.

Initiation of our daughter in 2005 with the LM by the visit of the “Lime kiln”! How that rained to him, we continue the adventure with 3, now, without forgetting the dog which generally follows us!

Entry of the men

The main door, with bars, is separated from outside by a ditch. In the axis of the door a FM crenel prohibits the approach of it.

JM/AC47

The entry of the men is protected by two casemates with JM/AC47. Here, in the casemate of right-hand side, the JM is out of battery in its crenel and the AC47 (anti-tank) is in unobtrusive position.

Dentist's surgery

Generator

It is one of the 4 Sulzer diesel of the generating power station (central called - factory by the Genius).

Converters

The turrets function with continuous electric current. As the generators produce the alternate one, for the turrets the produced current is transformed by these converters.

Room of ventilation

The surrounding air arrives in this room. It is made respirable by the filters which neutralize poison gases. Then it is distributed to the various buildings by a system of sheaths and ventilators.

Entry of the ammunition

Coming from the back, by a rail network with way of 60, the coaches charged with materials and ammunition penetrate in the entry where them loading is transhipped on the coaches of the interior rail network.

The anti-tank gun AC47 is, here, out of battery.
